4 Gold at Charcuterie Awards 2023
Kaczanowski & Co are delighted to announced they have recieved four National Gold Charcuterie Excellence Awards in the 2023 competition.
This win follows our success in the same competition last year, where we took home three National Gold medals.
AMIC Charcuterie Awards: Recognising Australia’s best smallgoods
Each year the Australian Meat Industry Council (AMIC) hosts an Australia-wide competition for producers of Australian charcuterie, leg ham and smallgoods. The competition is hard-fought, with participants from every State and Territory entering their finest products.
The Charcuterie Excellence Awards aim to determine the best ham, beef, lamb, chicken and specialty products available from Australian producers.
An embodiment of quality and distinction, these awards not only celebrate exceptional products but also champion the elevation of industry standards.
Gold medal winning ham & smallgoods
Kaczanowski & Co were fortunate to have multiple winning products in the ‘traditional leg ham’ and ‘other smallgoods’ categories.
In 2023 we received national gold medals for four products:
Smokehouse Leg Ham
Regularly winning gold medals, this exceptional leg ham is recognised as one of Australia’s best Christmas hams.
Imperial Ham
A long-time customer favourite, this leg ham is a go-to for anyone wanting to try the very best boneless ham.
Beef Brawn
Also awarded a gold medal in 2022, our 100% Australian beef brawn is a staple of delis and cafes across the country.
Smoked Duck Breast
A brand new speciality product from our factory, our smoked duck breast has won a gold medal in its first big competition.
We are, of course, thrilled with these results. It is a true honour to recognised among the best in our industry.
We extend our thanks to the AMIC, our hardworking staff, Kaczanowski stockists and customers who continually support us to create the very best smallgoods.
