Kaczanowski Wins 5 Gold in 2024

Row of gold medals for Kaczanowski ham, pastrami and bacon

Just like our Aussie Olympians and Para-olympians, Kaczanowski are bringing home a record haul of Gold Medals in 2024.

We have been awarded 4 Gold at the National Charcuterie Excellence Awards, and an additional Gold Medal at the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show.

This outstanding result builds on the success of last year where, where we received four National Gold Medals at the Charcuterie Excellence Awards.

2024 Gold Medals

The AMIC (Australian Meat Industry Council) Charcuterie Excellence Awards and the Sydney Royal Fine Food awards are annual competitions that attract the top-tier of Australian food producers.

The awards are judged by a panel of industry experts, with points awarded based on flavour, appearance, shape, aroma and other specialty criteria.

This year four of our most popular products were honoured with Gold Medals:

Smokehouse Leg Ham – 1 Gold

Made from 100% Australian Pork, traditionally smoked and prepared to our family recipe, our Smokehouse Leg Ham has earned its position among the best Christmas hams in the country.

Beef Pastrami – 1 Gold

Kaczanowski Pastrami is made from a premium cut of Australian beef, cured with our special mix of spices, then traditionally smoked for an unmatched flavour. Perfect for the lunchbox or the charcuterie board – find it in cafes and delis across the country.

Premium Beef Brawn – 2 Gold

Our 100% Australian beef brawn is a popular and beloved sandwich meat available from make delis and traditional grocers. It is also a multi-award winning product!

This year Kaczanowski Beef Brawn has won not only an AMIC Charcuterie Excellence Award, but also, a Gold Medal at the 2024 Sydney Royal Fine Food competition.

Middle Bacon – 1 Gold

If you haven’t tried Kaczanowski Middle Bacon – you’re missing out!

Our middle bacon is made from 100% Australian Pork, carefully prepared and smoked to our family recipe. It is a rich and flavoursome bacon that will add a delicious dimension to any meal.

Once again, we are delighted with these results. There is a lot of competition to produce gold medal worthy smallgoods. Wins do not come easily. So to receive top honours in not one – but two industry competitions is a rare feat!

We extend our thanks to the Sydney Royal Agricultural Society, the AMIC, Kaczanowski stockists, our hardworking staff and our loyal customers who continue to support and encourage us.
